Hip hop duo The Beatnuts swap their Queens stomping ground for the UK on tour this August.

Formed between Junkyard Ju-Ju, Psycho Les and Kool Fashion, the rap group have been operating the underground since the eighties. They first made their name producing Monie Love, collaborating with The Jungle Brothers and through remixing Cypress Hill and Naughty By Nature. Eventually they scribbled a contract with Combat Records, with whom they released seminal debut Intoxicated Demons

Fashion eventually left the band to follow Islam, leaving Juju and Psycho Les to pursue with records like A Musical Massacre (Listen to a hit from that above) and Take It Or Squeeze featuring Method Man.

Releasing material up to 2004, The Beatnuts have prolonged a career for the best part of three decades, making this one-off run of dates - including a showing in Manchester - a peak chance to snapshot hip hop throughout its evolution and witness The Beatnuts' funk leaning artillery.
