Teen stars Jonas Brothers in free London gig

26th Jun 2008

One of the biggest pop-rock bands in the world right now are to play a free gig in London tomorrow (June 27th) to celebrate the release of their new self-titled album.

The Jonas Brothers - currently in the UK Top 20 with their single SOS - are to play a free set at HMV's flagship Oxford Street store, along with a signing session, tomorrow evening.

Due to popular demand, the first-come first-served gig will start at 18:00 BST tomorrow and is restricted to just 280 ticketholders.

The Jonas Brothers found fame through the Disney Channel in the US and have sold over three million albums worldwide.

Earlier this week, Disney Channel's telepic Camp Rock, which stars The Jonas Brothers, became the second most watched film ever to be shown on the channel, attracting 8.9 million viewers.

The teen idols were just a tad less popular than High School Musical 2 - which scored 17.3 million viewers last August.
