Dubfire will headline October's Cocoon Part 3 at matter, with support from German star Timo Maas
matter's second New Year's Eve party has been announced as the return of Sven Väth and Cocoon, when the inimitable techno superstar and his iconic clubnight take over the venue on December 31st 2009.
Väth returns to the venue for his third headline set at the venue, after the huge success of the first two Cocoon London events earlier this year. Stepping in to fill Sven’s shoes for the third Cocoon installment, previous to the NYE event, is Dubfire on October 24th (see below). With the Cocoon clubbing institution among the most famous and in demand in the world, it makes way for matter to kick off what looks to be a spectacular 2010. The full line-up for Cocoon NYE is to be announced soon, with advance tickets going on sale on Wednesday 7th October at £40.
Before the return of Sven, Cocoon will be back at matter in late October for Part 3 of their 2009 residency. Welcoming ex-Deep Dish techno heavyweight Dubfire to the venue after a massive summer for the producer, which has seen him rock Ibiza and venues around the globe. Dubfire has also – alongside Loco Dice – taken the reins for the landmark Ten Years Cocoon Ibiza compilation, marking a decade on the White Isle which has seen the Monday night party take its rightful place in clubbing legend. He'll be joined by talented Polish producer Jacek Seinkiewicz, who'll be performing the live set that has attracted many admirers from the clubbing world, showcasing the sound that’s landed him releases on Cocoon Recordings and Klang Electronik. Room 2 will be under the charge of Mr C and his Superfreq team, welcoming Freak N Chic's Dan Ghenacia and US producer Adultnapper as their very special guests.
