Subways, View draw up Brixton DJ sets

13th Aug 2008

Two major Brit indie bands are set to play live DJ sets in London during September at an intimate Brixton venue.

The View and The Subways will both play Brixton Jamm as part of a major summer-long event at the venue, which will see acts such as Alabama 3, Reverend and the Makers and Shed Seven's Rick Whitter playing sets.

Charlotte Cooper, bassist of The Subways, will take to the decks on September 6th, while Kyle Falconer of Dundonians The View will take centre stage six days later on September 12th.

The Subways have been promoting their long-awaited second album All Or Nothing across the UK and Europe, with the band currently touring Germany and Austria.

Meanwhile, The View's follow-up to last year's number one album Hats Off To The Buskers is being recorded and is due to hit the shelves before the year is out.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18729300-ADNFCR
