Stars set for London charity gigs

A series of charity music and comedy gigs around a fashionable London location have been announced in support of Barnardo's.Starting on Wednesday August 6th, the Carnaby gigs - hosted around the world famous Carnaby Street - will see top performers from across the globe doing their turn for charity.
Scottish singer-songwriter Sandi Thom and hot new London-based indie band Once A Thief will play 24:London to kick off the schedule, with more gigs to be announced in the weeks ahead.
Meanwhile, Birmingham indie quintet The Twang have announced a special one-off London gig as part of their festival warm up schedule.
The band will play an acoustic set at the This Feeling night at Parker McMillan in central London tomorrow night (July 25th) as they prepare for their V Festival sets next month.
They are also rumoured to be testing out new material from their forthcoming album.
