Snowbombing Line up Grows to Epic Proportions!
9th Dec 2009
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the Fatboy is back! After missing out on playing at SB09 (due to health reasons), FATBOY SLIM, aka Norman Cook is now fighting fit and ready to honour his promise of returning to the mountains for Snowbombing 2010. The head honcho himself says; "After a little false start, here I come!! I love a new experience and I'm eager for some high altitude raving!? That's right, it's the party that we have all been waiting for? So, Don't. Miss it. For. The. World!!!
Drawing from influences of house, hip-hop and beyond, CROOKERS blend their beats from their collective musical backgrounds to create tracks that twist, startle and surprise with synthetic pop and pure party disco. NIC FANCIULLI's deep teccy sounds, acid b-lines and dark melodic grooves are on the plane to Snowbombing (hope they get to sit together). He's called MOODYMANN. He refuses to be interviewed and goodness knows what'll happen if we muck his rider up, but tell you what, his output behaves immaculately - a techno/house hybrid arrived at via innovative use of reworked riffs, samples and grooves. Classic soul and jazz samples + low-slung bass lines + a unique approach to drum programming = classic status.
More news just in... Dubstep Afro Warrior BENGA is added to the bill to share the headphones in the snow with SKREAM... North London's finest Griminal SKEPTA will be at large... Nu skool junglist BREAKAGE just confirmed... CAGEDBABY's coming back!!!... as are EVIL NINE & NATHAN DETROIT. ROOTS MANUVA describes our guest BREAKAGE thus: "...a man with an ear for deep, deep, sub-sonic frequencies. He goes in low. I thinking he's talking to sea-life. He's talking to the squid" - who are we to argue?
There aren't many parties CLIVE HENRY hasn't played, but Snowbombing is one of them; well that's about to change! Finally, what better antitodote to anodyne Austrian apres ski fodder than JAMIE JONES's deep house and edgy techno twiddlings?
All in all it's the biggest bill ever seen in the Alps since Dave Beer's hotel telephone bill in 2006 and guarantees a gargantuan week of gregariousness, even if you choose not to ski / snowboard. Full line up available HERE . And remember we have more Live acts announced before soon!
We're an official outlet for all the following events, plus our tickets are guaranteed the lowest price!
