Biggie Smalls once opined that room 112 was where the players dwell. It's an adage that certainly runs true on the 112th installment of our mix series, which has Manchester's finest disco heartthrob Will Tramp at the reins, the Yorkshire native who has been a fixture of the Manchester's scene since moving and starting legendary clubnight Tramp!

Resident at an all manner of the city's discotheques since, it's at the all conquering rave empire Warehouse Project where his inimitable versatility has shone brightest. Here his ability to deliver peak time house and techno offerings has been matched by a killer understanding of the deeper shades of soul, disco and funk; creating whirlwind collages of the best bits of dance music's near fifty year history in a hedonistic blur.

In particular it's often a wild interpretation of hi-nrg, proto house and electro funk, something which has been the cornerstone of his other high profile residency at HomoEectric, and the basis for this mix. Modern taps aff moments come courtesy of Ilija Rudman and Midland (the first and last track respectively), with a smorgasbord of older sounds in between from the likes of Aaron Neville.
