Skiddle Mix 094 - Ron&Neil (Futureboogie)

El Diablo's Social Club's Neil Diablo and Crazy P's Ron Basejam have partnered up for a new production outfit titled Ron&Neil and the result is just as delectably groovy as you'd imagine.

What do you get when you take two gifted disco purveyors and give them the leeway to create a new duo project? Double the grooves and double the dancing.

El Diablo's Social Club's key player Neil Diablo and Ron Basejam from Crazy P have joined forces to work under their Ron&Neil guise. They've indulged us with a funk-filled house and disco mix ahead of their gig together to give us a taste of what to expect from the newly created musical partnership.

They keep things current with the dreamy new track 'Calm Down' from Katy B, Four Tet and Floating Points and then bring it back with a bit more bite through bangers in the form of 'Suddenly Funk' by Renato Cohen.

This mix has got us dreaming of dancing under disco balls in a hot foreign country, what a way to shake away the January blues.

Catch the duo at Soup Kitchen on Friday 29th January.
