The sunshine has been stunted somewhat here in Skiddle HQ so we've had to bask in the glory of a place where it's nigh on guaranteed; Croatia. Our focus for it is Tisno's Electric Elephant, as the festival offers up a mix of one of the stalwarts of this year's line up in Classic man Luke Solomon - stream below.

One of the all time greats of the UK house music scene, Solomon's leftfield take on house music has been populating dancefloors since the early nineties, when he met up with long time cohort Justin Harris at university.

The duo would go on to form the hugely influential Music For Freaks imprint, spawning a live house music band Freaks which tasted chart success with a track omnipresent in the last decade, 'The Creeps (you're giving me)'.

Another partnership, with Chicago legend Derrick Carter, yielded Classic Recordings, a label which has been as important if not more so in shaping house music's love of oddball funk, introducing the production careers of the likes of Tiefschwarz, DJ Sneak and Isolee.

That keen ear for a killer record is reflected in his acumen as a gloriously funk driven DJ, where low slung acid collides with charming disco laden grooves and robotic house music.

That's the order of the day for much of the festival's unique musical manifesto of sun-kissed noir, reflected perfectly on this mix that puts us right on board the Argonaughty or deep in the midst of a late night session at Barbaerllas.
