On the 6th of September, Islington Borough Council will rule on whether they'll revoke iconic London club fabric's licence or not following it's forced closure after two clubbers' alleged drug-related deaths a few weeks back.

Countless clubbers and music lovers across the country have urged newly appointed mayor Sadiq Khan, who had as one of his key campaign pledges that he'd work hard to protect the city's night time economy, to keep the club open, and now you can have your say too.

An online petition has been launched to help save the club's feared closure. It has already earned 41,000 signatures, with fervent support coming in from all sectors of the international, underground dance music community (below). As one of Europe's most iconic clubs, it would be an unmitigated disaster to see the institution close its doors permanently, and even more worrying is the precedent this would set for other clubs in the city and across the country.
