We do love a good podcast here at Skiddle. Whether they're mixes pumping DJ’s histrionics through our veins or radio shows collating music we’ve not heard before, we’re more than partial to utilising them to help our musical education on the regular. And, you might have noticed, we think we’re pretty good at doing them ourselves.

But we’re all about the love here, and so we’re sharing to you the latest podcast from Sentric Music. They pick each month a selection of the best music on their roster, and as a company that represent a dizzying array of bands and singers they’ve got a lot to choose from. Want more info on what they do then head here.

The podcast is pinned together by dulcet tones of Sentric’s raconteur of radio Simon Pursehouse (he does have a tendency to ramble though - be warned), and this month there’s two bands playing at Leeds Festival included at the end of the month, Prides and I Divide. Prides blast out arena-sized synth pop, with I Divide’s rawer energy coming from a more classic guitar vein. Both are well worth your attention if you make it down to Leeds this year.

There’s still tickets for the festival left, but with sister festival Reading selling out completely earlier this week every chance that may no longer remain the case. One of the archetypal August Bank Holiday choices, you can read us waxing lyrical about the festival here.
