The Continental Pub in Preston is to host Un-Peeled, a tribute to the late John Peel on Sunday 25th October.
Famed for its annual beer festival, the pub welcomes a mix up between peel session frequenters, a Sauna Youth double header and under the radar ensembles stomping The Continental's grounds.
Revered Bristolian post-punk outfits Maximum Joy and the Glaxo Babies offer up the former with a set from Sauna Youth (listen to 'Transmitters' above), and a second under their Monotony guise, installing a kick from the present.
If you're yet to discover the grim allegations concerning Mr Cameron and a certain farm animal, once you do, unless you're a tory, you'll be overjoyed to discover satirical band The Iain Duncan Smiths will perform their newest hit 'Pigs Mouth Strikes Again' and more. Work that one out...
Elsewhere on the line up is Dutch outfit Eton Crop, JD Meatyard and Glamogoth with plenty more to come on the Peel informed line up.
