Sankeys With John Dahlback - WIN TICKETS!

Hailing from Sweden and charting a darker, more minimal course than his Mafia-esque counter parts, John has developed a certain sound of his own, plying sonic scoundscapes of house and techno, infused with his own rollicking grooves. With his own label, Pickadoll, featuring luminaries such as Sebastian Leger and Dada Life, he has fashioned a respected standing in a cluttered world of music, and continues to win friends the world over. With last year’s immense Radio 1 Essential Mix under his belt and a strong of productions too, John is set to detonate as Sankeys on Saturday 29th August.

One other artist on John’s label is young star Style of Eye – aka Linus Eklöw – who is something of a techno demon, melting down electrish bleeps, hysteric synthezisers, raw percussions, minimalism, big mouthed basses and soulful chords in order to create the club destroying monsters.  His releases are being played by such well-known names as Sven Väth, John Dahlbäck, Claude VonStroke, Tiga, and Laurent Garnier, M.A.N.D.Y amongst many others and Linus is the perfect foil to John Dahlback – a double whammy of scintillating Swedish sounds.
