Saturday 3rd October at Sankeys is looking rather hot. It’s another superlative session from one of the world’s greatest clubs, continuing on a scintillating run of form which is setting the autumn alight. Just take the headliner, for example, at this special allnighter being recorded for Stealth Recordings…

Tocadisco (Spanish for record player) started his DJ career around 1996 at Düsseldorf's Unique Club. His remixing CV is as long a your arm, including Slam's "Lifetimes" was his breakthrough as producer when the track was voted among the best remixes of the year 2001 in the reader poll of Groove magazine. His remix for Mylo’s single “In your Arms” became one of the most played records during the summer of 2005. Countless remixes followed for: Axwell&Ingrosso, the Egg, A’Studio, ATB, HiTack, Philippe B. a.m.m. He also finished remixes for New Order, Deep Dish, Pet Shop Boys, Mylo, Linus Love, Sono, Etienne Daho ( in cooperation with Fischerspooner ), Flatpack, Boosta, Funkwerkstatt, M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade, Enigma, Sharam from Deep Dish and Moby! The list goes on, as does the passion Tocadisco has for music – and rocking parties. His Sankeys session will be no different. If anything, better than ever!

Tocadisco is supported by Dirty Vegas, a Grammy Award-winning British house music trio made up of Ben Harris and Paul Harris (no relation) on instruments and production and Steve Smith on vocals, that was formed in 2001. The group broke up in 2005, but reformed in December 2008 to record new material, and during 2009 have been back in the finest of form. The group is best known for their international hit single "Days Go By", which gained mainstream popularity in a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse television commercial. Huge news fopr Sankeys to have the guys in town, this is not to be missed.
