Beginning innocently enough with a few indie-esque guitar strums, suddenly a frantic rhythm kicks in matched with equally frenetic, multi-layered, bleeps and bops while the vocals tell the story of finding "a girl on Google Image Search" and warns of the troubles with this method.
With its fused genres and contrasts of noises and effects, it should cause issues for all but the most committed listener however somehow, as the blend of noise hurtles along, it all becomes very accessible and the masses of ideas contained within two and a half minutes gel together almost seamlessly.
If what has been described as "McFly in outer orbit" sounds like your cup of tea then there will be plenty of opportunities to experience his exciting live performance as he tours the U.K. with Hot Chip throughout October and November.
