Reading and Leeds announce The Libertines as third headliners

Reading and Leeds festival have announced The Libertines as third headliners (read about the last line up announcement), bolstering appearances from Mumford & Sons and Metallica already announced in the other top billing slots for the August Bank Holiday festivals. 

This will be one of the most anticipated Libertines appearances yet due to their forthcoming album. Back from the brink once again in true fashion, we can expect a fitting performance (like the one below) that will still be talked about in years to come. 

There's a tonne more of high profile announcements as well including all conquering word smith Kendrick Lamar, celebrated indie anchors The Maccabees, emo-pop gods All Time Low, controversial rapper Tyler the Creator and Las Vegas rockers Panic! At the Disco also in and amongst the freshly delivered crop of acts.
