Oxjam Film Event This Sunday!

2nd Sep 2010

Looking for a relaxing way to end your weekend? Look no further than Oxjam’s Simon Pegg themed film event at Manchester’s Deaf Institute this Sunday.

Join the nice Oxjam folk and fellow film fans for a trip down memory lane, when cinemas were cinemas and you could drink and smoke (outside of course), and dance and be merry. Yes, this did happen, honest, ask your Gran.

The theme for this week’s event is ‘The Work of Simon Pegg’, so grab a beer and enjoy a well chosen selection of the great man’s work – 'Spaced', 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz'.

There’ll even be a DJ on after the screening, so you can waltz away the evening.

Can you think of a better way to while away a Sunday? Didn't think so, see you there.

Doors open at 2pm, and the the event runs until 2am.

Tickets cost just £4, with all proceeds going to Oxfam to help their work all over the world.

Tickets are no longer available for this event
