Oriental hotel ready to open in Manchester

The owners of one of Manchester's most famous Chinese restaurants are gearing up to open a new hotel in the city.

Since it opened in 1977, the Yang Sing has cemented its reputation as one of the best restaurants in Manchester and its owners are now set to open a new hotel close to the site of the restaurant.

The hotel is to be called the Yang Sing Oriental and is located on 36 Princess Street.

According to the team behind the project, the 48-bedroom boutique hotel will offer guests "oriental" style luxury and comfort.

Reports suggest the hotel will open late in July.

One of the unique things about the Yang Sing restaurant is its innovative "concept of the banquet".

The owners explained: "Our banquets are unique, in that they are not pre-set fixed menus.

"We will design a menu tailor made to suit all of your favourites and some of your fantasies."

As long as the team bring the same sense of quality and choice to their new venture, it is sure to become one of the most celebrated hotels in Manchester very quickly.
