St Johns Wood - the home to a host of celebrities and now One Blenheim Terrace.

Exuding star quality itself, the elegantly sophisticated restaurant sits confidently on a quiet suburban street, inviting passers-by in with its grand terrace and floor-to-ceiling conservatory windows.

The interior surprises with its modern-take on retro design, from its vertically striped walls to the citrus orange leather chairs.

The solo venture of Ed Shaerf, a former chef at Claridges and The Ivy, the dishes at One Blenheim Terrace are naturally at a very high standard, combining luxury and creativity, with age old classics and reinvention. Incredible starters such as 'Oak smoked salmon with dill emulsion & salmon row' are teamed effortlessly with signature ales, whilst main course such as 'Duck a l'orange with braised endive and confit leg spelt' are complimented by a selected Pinot Noir.

Old-school favourites such as 'Rice pudding brulee with damson jam' paired with a fruity Muscat round up a cleverly thought-out and sophisticated dining experience.

Yet with all this a la carte and fine-dining one would expect a price tag to match, however this does not seem to be the case. Starter prices range in the region of £6.95-£10.50, mains £14.95-£27.50, and desserts £5.95-£7.95.

One Blenheim Terrace is undoubtedly a top-end establishment, an amenity usually reserved for the 'other-half' and never experienced by many. However dining encounters like this don't have to be out of reach; when indulgence and splendour calls, call on One Blenheim Terrace.
