Joining Liverpool's increasingly vibrant clubbing sphere is brand new night Off The Wall, which kicks things off at the 24 Kitchen Street venue on 27th September. Laying down the gauntlet in emphatic fashion - the guys at Off The Wall enlist the sonic firepower of one of the genres most ferocious teams to kicks things off in a way that simply can't be ignored.

Scottish double team Clouds head up Off The Wall's inaugural rave - a sterling choice for the Liverpool promoters in their bid to bring real, raw and rugged techno to Liverpool's discerning underground fans. With a staggering back catalogue that has seen them unleash a barrage of caustic techno bangers on labels like leading Soma and Turbo, Clouds have in a matter of four years become one of the scene's most singular forces.

With their productions varying from the broken, skewed workouts like 'Consciousnes' (above), to the dark and brooding 'Complete Control', via the recent AFX style acid drenched beasts on the Tannhauser Acid Works II EP (check out perfectly named 'Dread Networks' below), - the duo successfully plunder the darker recesses of rave music, delivering brutal release after brutal release that has landed them at the very fore of the UK techno scene.

After last hitting Liverpool back in February for Waxxx in what was a blistering display of techno might, the duo make their eagerly awaited return to Merseyside, primed to deliver yet more of that indomitable, blood-curdling brilliance that us techno fiends so crave. And what's more, they'll be doing it for three whole hours.

It's a no nonsense start for Off The Wall, who look perfectly placed to become one of Liverpool's true techno clubbing authorities. Bag your Clouds tickets here.
