North Country Boys set for UK jaunt

Legendary Britpop pioneers The Charlatans are to continue their legacy later this year with another national tour.

Tim Burgess will lead his boys on a jaunt across the UK from October 1st, to coincide with the release of the band's Oh! Vanity single on October 20th.

Starting in Belfast on October 1st, the Irish leg of the tour will call in to Limerick and Dublin, before heading to England and to Hull.

The band - who will celebrate their 20th year together next year - will call in to Warrington, Southend, Edinburgh, Dundee and Preston, among others, before playing the famous London Astoria venue on October 18th.

Leeds Academy will play host to the last gig of the tour on October 20th.

Both Jon Brookes and Martin Blunt from the band are lined up to DJ at the Becks Fusions art and music festival in the Castlefield area of Manchester this Thursday (September 4th).ADNFCR-1603-ID-18759351-ADNFCR
