New London club opens for business
9th Jun 2008
A new London club has opened in Greenwich, promising to offer the best house music to clubbers in the capital. The grand opening of the House Club and Terrace took place over the weekend, and a stellar line up of DJs indicated that the venue was keen to become known as one of the best clubs in London.
For the opening party, the likes of Tony Nichollas, DJ Marie and Mark James took to the decks.
The over-23s club is the brainchild of Kevin Andrews, one half of the celebrated Hoxton Whores. He has created a 1,500-capacity venue spread over two floors.
In the coming weeks, the likes of Boy George and the Miss Moneypenny DJs are due to play.
As an added bonus, the venue boasts a terrace, where clubbers can smoke without breaking the UK ban.
The House Club and Terrace is located close to North Greenwich underground station and will enforce a strict no trainers or Converse policy.
