Since plying his trade on the hallowed Berlin circuit during the early 90's, Dixon gradually commanded a solid reputation for his innovative brand of house music at a time when techno was all the craze.

In 2005, he established his seminal Inner City club night, and a year later he'd cross paths with Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer, the duo behind the Ame moniker whose shared determination to push the boundaries of house music formed the nucleus to their co-owned label Innervisions.

On Friday 17th October, they bring their imprint and an ensemble of its star selectors to Leeds' Canal Mills. Headed up by Dixon and Ame themselves, the evenings proceedings could well see Dixon's recent collaboration with Guy Gerber 'No Distance' slung into the fold, for a flavour listen below.

Also hitting up the controls as part of the Innervisions squadron is Prins Thomas, a Norwegian beatmaker who draws from a plethora of genres to form an innovative brand of electronic music that refuses to be pigeon-holed.

His latest workings incorporate anything from spacey eighties electro to stripped back minimal techno, with a recent rework of La Roux's 'Let Me Down Gently' (below) introducing us to another side of the Norwegian producer.

Elsewhere on the line up, Mark E brings his unfounded ability to read a crowd and weave together a fitting set of beats from all corners of the musical spectrum to entertain the crowd, along with revered duo Optimo continuing the genre defying theme with their eclectic track selection and Berlin staple Mr Ties, who rounds off the solid ensemble.
