Metronomy announce one-off London gig

16th Jun 2008

Devon-based electropop outfit Metronomy have announced a one-off gig in London next month in the run up to the release of the group's latest single.

The band - led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joseph Mount - will play Camden's intimate Barfly venue on July 2nd, shortly before the single release of Holiday, which hits the shelves on July 7th.

Metronomy - who have toured the UK supporting the likes of Kate Nash, Foals, Justice and CSS - will follow up their debut album, Pip Paine, with concept record Night Out - all about going out - on June 30th.

Meanwhile, Metronomy - who have remixed songs for the likes of Sebastian Tellier, Architecture in Helsinki, The Young Knives and Klaxons - are also set to appear at a number of festivals this summer, including T In The Park and the Secret Garden Party.
