Matter's xXx night lines up Doherty

3rd Sep 2008

London's newest superclub is to welcome an unlikely headliner next month as it launches a special night.

Pete Doherty is among the names who will play at the night dubbed xXx - The Creative Experiment at Matter, which is housed in The O2 - formally known as the Millennium Dome.

Alongside the Babyshambles front man will be A list producer Mark Ronson, with indie band The View also taking to the stage on this unique night.

Mystery Jets, New Young Pony Club, Friendly Fires and Lethal Bizzle are also lined up to perform at the night on October 11th, which is being organised by clothing company Diesel.

Organisers state that the full line-up will have over 30 artists when it is announced.

Due to open in mid-September, the arena will have its own independent entrance on the banks of the Thames and will be the third major venue in the The O2, alongside the O2 Arena and IndigO2.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18761510-ADNFCR
