Martinez Brothers plan UK debut in London

New York electro sensations the Martinez Brothers will make their UK debut later this month when they play the Plan B club in London.

People wondering what's on in London over the second bank holiday in May will be pleased to learn that P Diddy's favourite teenaged electro purveyors will be making their first appearance in the country.

A performance at the Winter Music Conference in Miami established the reputation of the Bronx-born duo and generated industry buzz, with many tipping them to make it big in 2008.

The organisers of the London gig explained: "Signed to Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint, their NY-soul infused and tech-tinged DJ sets, delivered with all the exuberance of youth, are making tidal-style waves in the house scene right about now.

"Trust us, they've already smashed Danny Krivit's 718 Session party … and they're set to go stratospheric in 2008."

Plan B open in 2002 and has since become something of a London institution. Regular sets from the likes of Norman Jay and Skream have helped develop its reputation.
