Mad Hatters Tea Party Hits Egg This Saturday

Saturday 20th of June is time again for EGGs annual Mad Hatters Tea Party and this year its in conjunction with TwoAM Sound System. With Wimbledon, Ascot and the summer solstice all occurring on this week, its definitely time for some English garden party shenanigans to finally kick off the start of the summer! Theme wise think: crazy hats, the ladies of Ascot, or even make your own hat!, Alice in Wonderland the mad hatters tea party itself: white rabbits, Mad Hatters, Alice and the Cheshire Cat whatever you choose be sure to make its MAD! Last years party saw some amazing hats and outfits - you all really pulled out all the stops so were looking forward to seeing what you all come up with this time round.

The garden itself will be designed with an Alice in Wonderland style production to really set the feel of the mad hatters tea party. Everything from huge playing cards to flamingos. There will be lots of picnic trestle tables all across the garden with jam tarts, sausage rolls, scones and PIMMS punch to be poured from nice teapots and cups.. If you come down early there will also be strawberrys and cream in the garden from 10-12. If after all this you are feeling peckish later dont forget the brand new EGG kitchens are up and running and we now serve food all through the night and the morning.

Helping the party go with a swing up on the terrace we are pleased to welcome KAMISSHAKE from TOOLROOM RECORDS a self confessed lover of all things nocturnal, he has been visiting clubs ever since he was old enough to get in to them and its been shaping his life from the very first visit. Famed for playing a unique blend of hypnotic, sexy global beats he regularly plays in Thailand, Uruguay, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy and more. Alongside Kami will be DJ and Producer Julius from PRESSLAB and BREAD & BUTTER - JULIUS has worked the London scene over the years with residencies at Vertigo and Codex and is also a regular DJ at parties such a Renaissance, Global Underground and Rulin. Kami and Julius will help you dance the night into the morning with the help of techy lover and up and coming legend COLIN JOHN plus the EGG resident DJs LADY BIANCA and NICK TCHERNIAK

Taking you on an exhilarating journey through the world of the dance music underground, will be top London promoters: KEY OF LIFE down in the Basement. Up in the Loft will be special guest JAMES JACKSON from DEFECTED RECORDS playing a house set and plus bringing you disco, pop, party music and all that comes in between will be EGG regulars TASTY TIM and LADY LLOYD
