Manchester-based night Lowdown have teamed up with event organisers illumiNaughty to bring something truly incredible to Sound Control in Manchester on Saturday 4th October.

Lowdown is an award-winning bass, breaks and beats night proudly housed at Sound Control. The club has three sections, the basement, bar and loft, all of which are perfectly suited to vibes that Lowdown creates. At the International Breakbeat Awards, Lowdown was crowned 'Best Small Event' on three occasions, making it the best event in the world for the breakbeat genre.

Over the past eight years illumiNaughty have been merging bass-heavy beats and psychedelic sonics with circus and carnival performances to deliver an unforgettable experience. The production team have worked tirelessly to create one of the UK's most adventurous dance music events. They transform spaces with mind-blowing visuals, decor, lasers and lighting, bringing something entirely different to the clubbing world.

Breakbeat legends Freestylers are headlining the event this October. They've covered every angle of bass music and have achieved success that most artists can only dream of. They bounced between electro, hip-hop and beats in order to create their own individual sound (check out one of their re-rubs above).

Also playing is Dutty Moonshine, who effortlessly creates dancefloor friendly music filled with glitch beats, funk and reggae.

British heavyweights Atomic Drop and Specimen A are also on the bill. Support comes from Lowdown DJs. Get your tickets for the event here.
