Leeds festival line up revealed

People wondering what's on in Leeds will be interested to note that the line up for a festival taking place near the city has now been confirmed.

The three-day Moor Music Festival will take place on a hill in the countryside between Leeds and Bradford and will begin on August 7th.

It promises to be "a small and beautifully formed weekend party filled with creativity, music, mayhem [and] great food and drink".

To differentiate the festival from others around the UK this summer, the organisers have opted for a line up which features up-and-coming acts over big named headliners.

They confirmed that The Long Blondes, Forward Russia, Paul Woolford and Dan Deacon would all be playing at the event.

What's more, Utah Saints and Audiojack will help curate the The Homespun tent.

Recently, the Guardian newspaper named the event as one of the best "British festivals you'll never have heard of".
