Last Shadow Puppets pull strings and extend UK tour

18th Jul 2008

Manchester and Leeds will be visited by The Last Shadow Puppets later this year after they announced an extension of their UK tour.

Earlier this month, Arctic Monkey Alex Turner and Rascal Miles Kane announced a major list of dates - with gigs lined up for London, Oxford, New York and Los Angeles - among others.

However, the side project - which scored a number one album with The Age of the Understatement earlier this year - will now play Manchester's Apollo venue, Leeds Academy, Wolverhampton Civic Hall and Newcastle's City Hall throughout October.

Meanwhile, Cardiff-based rockers Future of the Left have also announced extra dates to their forthcoming UK tour.

The band will play Newcastle's Head of Steam and Proud Galleries in London - alongside gigs in Cardiff, Glasgow and Tunbridge Wells - in August.
