Kid Rocks Bon Jovi dates

8th Feb 2010

Bon Jovi will be supported by Kid Rock on two extra dates added to their UK residency in June.

The 'We Weren't Born to Follow' rockers are staying an additional two nights, bringing their London residency at the O2 arena to twelve dates, after demand for tickets was so high.

The extra shows on June 25 and 26 will also star Kid Rock, marking his first trip back to the UK after his 2008 number one single 'All Summer Long'.

Singer Jon Bon Jovi has previously said the band - which also includes guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboard player Dave Bryan and drummer Tico Torres - are "psyched" about performing in the UK.

He said: "We are psyched about playing The O2, we put up the first ones and they sold out in days so looks like we'll be staying for a while. And we'll stay until people get sick of us and we'll go back to America."

Jon, 47, has also said he doesn't feel as if he's getting older and wants he band to keep going as long as possible.

He said: "I still feel like I'm 18. I don't plan on being the next Mick Jagger and to keep on going till my late 60s. But at the moment I don't see a reason why I should stop."

Bon Jovi's London residency is part of the group's 'Circus' tour, which kicks off in Hawaii this month and will see the group spend nearly two years on the road.
