Kesha is considering a switch to country music.

The pop star - whose debut single 'Tik Tok' shot to the top of the charts in 11 countries - would love to collaborate with a country star in the future, as she finds the genre "inspiring".

The 23-year-old singer said: "I'm really inspired by country music. My mom wrote country music and I love Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. I think at some point there might be some country collaborations or records in the future."

However, Kesha is not ready to give up the sound that has made her famous just yet.

She told Paper Magazine: "I'm really digging being called, like half-jokingly, a white-girl rapper. I think it's really funny and I'm going to ride that train for a little bit."

The 'Blah Blah Blah' singer recently revealed she doesn't do anything to deliberately to create her image, and instead it is her true personality which is reflected in her songs and videos.

She explained: "OK, you think it's all an image - well that's so not true. I would hope to come off as a walking celebration of f**k off irreverence and youth and fun."
