Date published: 14th Aug 2009
We're absolutely delighted to announce that ORBITAL will be this year's official headliners, playing the climatic closing set at this summer's Get Loaded in the Park. Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their classic debut single ‘Chime' - one of the greatest dance records of all time, the iconic duo Paul and Phil Hartnoll will be playing their only London Festival appearance of 2009 in the darkness and the great outdoors of Clapham Common. Fittingly, the Common was a popular destination for the rave scene back in the late 80's / early 90's, so to have Orbital playing live on this notorious field two decades later will be something extra special. Get ready for a legendary comeback!
"We're really excited to be playing at Get Loaded" beams Paul Hartnoll. "It should be a fantastic way to end the summer festival season and we've heard some great reports from friends who have been. It's brilliant to be playing a big outdoor show in London."
