The gigs in Manchester will come as the St Albans-based band promote their debut album, which is released at the start of September.
Famed for their unique brand of indie-pop mashed with disco, Friendly Fires have built up an ever-growing following across the UK and will also play gigs in London, Preston and Southampton.
Meanwhile, possible the greatest musical export from Southport - Gomez - are to celebrate a decade since their debut album with gigs in Sheffield, London and Birmingham, before finishing back in the north-west in at Manchester Academy 1.
The Bring It On tour reminisces about the album of the same name which won the coveted Mercury Music Prize in 1998.
