Friendly Fires set for intimate London show

4th Jul 2008

Fresh from playing the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury, Friendly Fires have announced details of an intimate gig in London scheduled for later this month.

The St Albans trio - who play the Wakestock festival in Cardigan Bay today (July 4th) - will play the cramped Soho Revue Bar on July 24th.

Tickets priced at £8 are on sale for the gig, which is part of the band's warm up for the Reading and Leeds festivals towards the end of August.

Meanwhile, Manchester indie band Elbow have announced a third date to their gigs in London as part of their national tour later this year.

Already scheduled to play two gigs at the Roundhouse in October, Guy Garvey and the boys will play a third gig on October 13th.

The band will also play a second night in Manchester at the Apollo on October 30th.
