Following a string of anniversary events throughout the summer, Freeze is celebrating its official 10th birthday milestone on Saturday 14th November with Nicolas Jaar, followed by events in December headlined by Greg Wilson and Gilles Peterson.
After the Young Turks showcase earlier in the year, the Liverpool based club night wanted to welcome Jaar, who has released on the label with Jamie XX, to The Garage for his debut in the city. The composer and producer is praised for his improvised performances, genre-bending tracks and experimental approach to underground music (watch below).
On Saturday 5th December Freeze favourite Greg Wilson will celebrate 40 years in the industry for a special five hour extended set. It's followed by a Worldwide showcase from the legendary Gilles Peterson on Friday 18th December.
Freeze's 10th anniversary events so far have seen Solomun, Bonobo and Crazy P play in the Bombed Out Church, Todd Terje play in Manchester Cathedral and Nina Kraviz take over the industrial New Bird Warehouse.
