Filthy Rich and Kanio hit Sheffield

The Hijacked crew have got a reputation for throwing some of the best underground parties around and after our launch party you can see why! 

Hijacked is all about turning up and having a good time, there's know pretentious attitudes, it doesn't matter who you are...everyone and anyone is welcome...it really is all about the music!

As our last headliner said 'I have never met a group of promoter's/dj's who go into the crowed and party as hard if not harder than the punters....well played!' And it shows we are just a group of guys who love music, love djing, love partying hard and know how to throw a fucking good party! You won't find us stood behind the decks nodding our heads we will be the guys front row centre going crazy! 

This month we are bringing you two of the best House and Techno producers/dj's on the circuit Filthy Rich and Kanio!

Filthy Rich is one of the most sort after dj's and producers out there and as both his solo project and as one half of international techno ledgends Spektre has gained support from the biggest names on the scene such as Sven Vath, Locodice, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Pete Tong to name a few!

His productions have been released on Toolroom, Off Recordings, Suara, Stealth, Materialism, Cr2 etc. 

Rich has also toured the globe and has a reputation for being a formidable force behind the decks! Which is why after his set at Hijacked he is flying out to Miami to smash the decks at the WMC, which kinda puts things into perspective!

So make sure you get down to catch his set because one things for sure...it's going to go off!

Supporting Filthy Rich is London based dj and producer Kanio. Kanio is one of many alias's of the incredibly talented producer Ed Kane.

Kanio's unique brand of funky bass heavy techno has gained support from dj's and producers such as Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Locodice, Seth Troxler, Magda, Heidi and Maya Jayne Coles to name a few.

Kanios' set at Filth (the well renowned Leeds based House and Techno night) was described by them as 'One of the finest set's in Filth's history' so we are going to take there word for it and prepare for a storm...batten down the hatches, because Kanio is coming to Sheffield  and shit's gonna get messy!
