Filth Relaunch at The Brand New Mint Club

Firing up all cylinders for the re-opening of the newly furbished Mint Club (to the tune of half a million pounds!), the Filth crew return from Ibiza for their infamous pre-new school year blow-out! September's Filth extravaganza features one of down under's' finest house music men, Hook N Sling, making his Filth debut. Co-headlining this pre-Freshers party is the Italian stallion fidget house maestro, Mowgli. Be ready to anticipate some monstrous basslines as the dust sheets are hoisted off the thundering Funktion 1 sound-system to deliver the proverbial aural business!
With recent Hook N Sling tracks like The Best Thing' doing the damage the world over, his slamming remixes for labels like Cr2 and artists like Stanton Warriors, this is hyped as one of THE dates of his UK tour where the Auzzie party tunes collide head-on with the infamous Leeds clubbing atmosphere that has come to be expected! Following some storming new remixes from Mowgli also, with the likes of Martin Solveig and Trip-Hop legend Tricky getting in line for his twisted studio treatment, you can expect the chunkiest in electro beats, jump-up breakbeats and manic bassline funkers from two of the freshest names in the game to grace the Filth DJ booth this year.
With the residents team returning to Leeds after a successful season of smashing Ibiza to pieces throughout the summer, with their weekly Filth parties at the islands most quirky clubbing location, The Zoo Project, the main men Danny Savage, Dale Castell, Eddi Zanetti and Gav Bailey are back at the helm of the rather more local Mint Club festivities. For the notoriously hedonistic Leeds crowd wanting to further their Ibiza shenanigans, come and get involved with the sounds of wonky vocal electro, mind bending fidget, and those big trademark basslines that you've come to expect from Filth, back on your own re-furbished home turf!
