The Vampire Weekend singer has not yet made any definite plans for Christmas Day (25.12.10) or New Year's Eve (31.12.10) this year as he likes to make more spontaneous decisions.
He said: "I think I'm probably going to be in New York this year. I don't have a routine really.
"Last year I went to a Knicks game. I thought that was a pretty cool thing to do on Christmas Day. They had uniforms that were green and orange instead of blue and orange. There was a nice holiday atmosphere at Madison Square Garden."
The rocker makes so few plans for Christmas, he doesn't even know what he will be eating yet.
He added: "I've definitely had quail, guinea hen, various types of foul. But I don't know about partridge. It's something for the list."
