Ahoy there! The sun is shining quite magnificently here at Skiddle HQ and the mood has been brightened even more by the news of Electric Elephant's boat parties coming through.

It's one thing being radiated in a bit of natural light in the Lancashire springtime but quite another in the joys of an Adriatic summer, and there's few places to do so than whilst sailing aboard the Argonaughty in Tisno.

This year EE will have a total of ten voyages into the sea, two daily excursions from Thursday 10th July up to Monday 14th, each a four hour excursion from either 2pm-6pm or 7pm to 11pm soundtracked by a range of DJs spinning everything form lush disco up to warm funk.

You can get a mere glimpse of the joy they bring from the below video, when Andrew Weatherall brought everyone's hands firmly vertical with lush piano house on the ALFOS boat last year.

Things kick off on the Thursday with the Vauxhall disco doyens Horse Meat Disco manning the first trip into the waters from 2pm, with other highlights across the ten passages including Lowlife on Saturday at 7pm, Idiots are Winning a day later and the Monday Mystery Voyage (tickets on sale for this soon)... we're pretty sure the unannounced guest will be a big one.

Electric Chair will host two parties, the legendary clubnight that spawned the festival taking in two evening parties on the Friday and the Monday, flying solo on the former and then welcoming a selection of friends for the finale for the latter.

They join the main festival artists, which include Francois K, Simian Mobile Disco, Derrick May, Prosumer and many, many more. Head here for the full line up.

For boat party tickets please head to the group for a full list (they go on sale 12pm Tuesday 29th April), the ticket box on this article is for the FULL festival tickets
