Award-winning producer and all-round legendary DJ, Danny Tenaglia, will play in Liverpool for the first time ever on Friday 17th June at The Garage.
Tenaglia's sets were the stuff of folklore in the city during the nineties, word of his innovative sets travelled between ravers across the county as they talked of the unparalleled atmosphere he created with demi-god type skills behind the decks, but despite demand, the New Yorker never made his way to Liverpool.
His background in music reflects his prolific reputation. After being heavily influenced by Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage, Tenaglia went onto pioneer the tribal house sound. Not to mention he is responsible for some of the greatest mix CDs and compilations of all time.
To this day, after over 30 years on the scene, he still remains incredibly in demand and relevant to a constantly evolving scene, developing his sound further with a focus on techno-edged music. Check out one of his more recent sets for Boiler Room above.
The team behind the Cream reunions have partnered up with the newly renovated Garage venue to bring him to Liverpool along with Selador Records founder Dave Seaman.
Tickets for Tenaglia's debut will be available from the box below from 10am on Friday 18th March.
