Crasher to celebrate 15 years of mayhem

21st Jul 2008

One of the UK's most famous superclubs is to celebrate 15 years of madness and mayhem this autumn with a massive party.

Legendary Sheffield club Gatecrasher - famous the world over for its pioneering look on trance music- will host a celebration for over 2,000 clubbers at the Carling Academy Sheffield on September 20th.

Headlining the main Crasher arena will be Dutch trance legend Armin Van Buuren, ably assisted by countryman and long-time Gatecrasher resident Ferry Corsten.

DJ Remy and Sied Van Riel will also play the main room, while room two is to be hosted by Electrik Playground - with the Leeds night bringing resident Adam Sheridan to Sheffield.

After a decade and a half at the top of trance music, Gatecrasher is set to open a new venue in Birmingham later this year.

The 2,400-capacity venue will transform the former Works club with an official launch expected at the end of September.
