Cheshire Garden Party First Birthday

As one of the most loved deep and tech house events in Cheshire, the lauded Cheshire Garden Party plans to celebrate its first birthday on September 6th by welcoming a whole heap of underground luminaries to The Mersey View in Frodsham.

Taking centre stage will be the inimitable dubbed out, discerning sounds of Apollonia member Shonky. His particular brand of deep house has been at the centre of Apollonia's rise to become one of the world's most formidable DJing forces, with its crisp minimalism and engrossing atmospherics working an absolute treat on dance floors across Europe.

Since bursting onto the scene back in 2005, Shonky has found favour with labels like Freak n Chic, Crosstown Rebels, Contexxterrior, Spectral and Real Tone as they lapped up his stripped back, twisted beats and dirty warehouse vibes. Check out his set above to see why he is so widely adored.

Leeds based Hot Creations favourite wAFF joins in on the birthday celebrations too, with his lean, mean tech fuelled sonics quickly becoming some of the most sought after in the business. With props coming from the likes of Sven Vath, Loco Dice and Cajmere, his stature in tech house environs is rightly massive, as he relentlessly explores the further reaches of driving, bass heavy bliss.
