Best Joined Up, Leeds’ only monthly live art event has teamed up with the PAMPERO FUNDACION™ to launch its latest round of interactive artistic revelry, collaborating the UK’s finest street artists and illustrators, designers, animators, film makers, DJs and producers in an artistic explosion, 26 September 2008, at The Faversham, Leeds.
Best Joined Up, which sits alongside New Bohemia and now in its second year, will showcase stunning new projects including live screen-printing and tattooing, clothing, footwear and vehicle customisation, while resident hand stylists transform The Fav with their doodles. True to its roots, the night will also continue to encourage participation, handing over pens and paints to those feeling the need to scribble and scrawl.
There will be a chance to bag exclusive pieces of street art in the newly opened exhibition space at The Fav, with quarterly exhibitions and private views curated by Best Joined Up artists.
In addition to the duelling of pens, ITF and Vestax world champion, DJ Woody, will be providing musical inspiration to the crowds along with guest DJs and producers each month. Kicking off the launch sessions will be Mr. Thing, yungun and Kidkanevil.
The Pampero Fundacion, which promotes grassroots creativity and is supported by the makers of PAMPERO® rum, will thread its Venezuelan heritage throughout the evening with special rum drinks promotions and tastings.
