Below Bank Holiday Special Announces Special Guests

Below has bolstered its all star line up at the Rainbow Complex with non other than Cassy and Laura Jones which is set to go off on the August bank holiday weekend - Sunday 24th. 

In what started as a club night set up by Adam Shelton and friends to satisfy their love for electronic music it has far exceeded their visionaries - with a backlog of dance giants having appeared at the club night in tandem with resident's Adam Shelton himself and S.A.S compatriot Subb An. 

The event will be housed in the courtyard section of the Rainbow Complex - a raw industrial setting fitting for an event of this magnitude and the ensemble of acts that accompany it. 

A DJ who is sure to live up to the widely anticipated special guest announcement is a familiar name on the Berlin circuit, Cassy. The Austrian native has been a long standing regular of some of the world's most celebrated clubs including Berlin's Panorama bar where she initiated a mix series.  

She has worked alongside the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Steve Bug releasing on Perlon records and her own imprint Cassy - frequently delivering an output slung between the lines of groove laden deep house and minimal techno - a blend that remains highly receptive of a venue that holds such a special atmosphere. The announcements do not stop there as house and techno luminary Laura Jones is added to the line up. Widely recognised for her trademark orange sunglasses, Jones provides a breathe of fresh air to the underground foray.

Her groundbreaking hit 'Love In Me' (here it out above) first propelled her into the limelight that seen her taken under the wings of Circoloco and Fabric highlighting her true musical pedigree. She boasts releases on hot label's Visionquest, Crosstown rebels and Leftroom and is widely acclaimed for her phenomenal remixes of underground beats. 

A Below extravaganza would not be complete without its founding godfather Adam Shelton. Shelton first aired his raw talent with the 'Air Trax EP' and gained massive plaudits for his remix of Ben Pearce's 'What I might do'. The influential One Records architect is no stranger to the worlds elite clubs brandishing an energetic style torn between banging acid house and discerning techno vibes.
