Leeds clubbing institution Back to Basics turns 21 this November - and as is only fitting for such a legendary night, they're celebrating in style with not one, but two birthday parties.

Last year the iconic night celebrated its 20th anniversary with an unforgettable party and a shift from its Stinkys Peephouse home to The Warehouse, where it has taken up a monthly residency alongside bi-weekly parties at intimate Leeds venue The Garage.
The first party of the 21st birthday celebrations takes place at The Warehouse on November 3rd, featuring a rare and special DJ set from Basement Jaxx - who played Basics on a debut tour before they blew up into a household name that they have become today.
Having stayed loyal to Back to Basics ever since, Basement Jaxx's Felix and Simon return from the worldwide, sell out tours to help the night celebrate in style. For this prestigious occasion the theme is 'elegant attire', so guts are being asked to don their finest clobber.
The second birthday party is at The Garage on November 24th. Taking a 'Back to the Future' theme, the party will see the club extended to four rooms and transformed into a post apocalyptic playground with a futuristic dress code.
Again, the line-up features DJs close to Basics' heart - with old time friend of the night Chez Damier headlining. The Chicago legend was one of the first artists on Back to Basics Recordings, so who better to help the night celebrate its 21st birthday. Joining Chez will be Classic boss Luke Solomon, Maurice Fulton, Visonquest's Laura Jones, Burnski, Ralph Lawson, Buckley, James Holroyd, Tristan Da Cuhna, Frenchy, Dave Beer plus La Femme Fatale with Jasmin featuring live singer Sarah Story.
This will also be your last chance to get filmed for the 'Tales of Glamour & Excess' documentary being made about the club, telling the full, uncensored story of the 21 years of Back to Basics - which will be premiered in January 2013.
