Conscious of their asserting live performance, this second effort from PINS is noisy, youthful minded and everything you'd expect from the female Manchester collective punching the inners of the live circuit.

Stamped with reams of melody and funnelled lo-fi fuzz, the record journeys the edgier side of dream-pop with a stoned outlook. It's clearly punk rooted but PINS aren't quite intent on raising hell, Young Girls sways, Dazed By You shimmers and Molly (above) revels in a warped reality forged by a rippling guitar line.

Its centre-piece Oh Lord (below) exercises their toolbox markedly, unhinged vocal hooks are stirred into cantering drums and swirling bass to create a four minute stretch of atmospheric sleaze.

If moody cool was a thing it'd be this, an infectious meander of expansive sounds that explores deeper territories than first expected. It's by far their most complete works to date, in perhaps what was a make or break album for the band.
