The initial line ups for this year's Amsterdam Dance Event have been announced, with notorious techno brand Awakenings the first to outline their plans.

Fresh off the back of the annual techno pilgrimage Awakenings Festival in the Dutch capital last weekend, Awakenings' ADE parties will extend from the traditional four to five nights between 19th - 23rd October, inviting some of the biggest and brightest techno heads for the duration.

Things kick off on Wednesday October 19th with Len Faki's very own Figure Night party starring Blawan, Cleric and Rodhad amongst more. The following night, Adam Beyer's all conquering Drumcode brand rolls in - favourites Alan Fitzpatrick, Dense & Pika and Ida Engberg headline - watch last years highlights below.

Joris Voorn, Apollonia, Kolsch and Sebastian Mullaert take over on Friday 21st for more house focused mutations, whilst Joseph Capriati, Pan-Pot and Sven Vath in his first ADE appearance for some time take control on the 22nd.

The parties, all held at Gashouder draw to a close on October 23rd with our pick of the bunch - AnD, Ben Sims, Dax J, Marcel Dettmann, Oscar Mulero, Scuba and UVB bring a tougher edge to proceedings, providing a ferocious end to Awakenings' ADE programme.
