909 to launch in Manchester this July

There's a hell of a lot more love between Liverpool and Manchester than some silly football fans will have you believe. Whilst the friendly rivalry over the years has spilled into clubland, it's also created a fantastic cross pollination of scenes. That history sees another development in July when Liverpool promoters 303 start a brand new night in Manchester with the launch of sister project 909.

It's not the first time they've set up shop there having brought both Slam and Surgeon to Joshua Brooks in the past nine months but it will see them form a concrete alliance with the Mancunian rave throng. It launches on Saturday 16th July with a Submission Day & Night party, so called because of the epic twelve hour duration from 4pm-4am. 

Topping the bill will be Pig & Dan, the duo having recently crafted a very well received Essential Mix alongside a slew of releases over the years for the likes of Soma, Cocoon and Bedrock. Expect melody tinged electronic a and deep chugging grooves like their podcast for Vantage Festival last year above showcases.

Joining them will be a girl who knows a thing or two about the relations between the two cities Lauren Lo Sung, who has put on her own LoLife parties in each location. 303 bring their own residents alongside those of Manchester based Zutkeh and Process for a twelve hour showcase from both cities.
