Wickerman Festival Nominated for an Indy!

In recognition of the many unsigned artists that play over the Wickerman weekend we have been nominated for an Indy award. Virtual festivals have teamed up with the Indy Music Awards to present an award to one festival which has demonstrated continued support to un-signed and independent music.
An indy Best Festival Award will go to the festival which has shown most commitment to the un-signed and independent music scene. Cast your vote now to give our nominees the recognition they deserve (We are listed under T for THE Wickerman Festival).
The Wickerman Festival has been nominated for it's contribution to supporting independent music. Many of the acts nominated from The Wickerman played in the Solus Tent, which until recently was organised by ourselves, Skiddle.com
It would be a top accolade to win an Indy, which we hope will sit nicely alongside the Virtual Festivals award for Best Grass Roots festival. Bands nominated for an Indy Award from The Wickerman Festival include The Xcerts, The Kazoo Funk Orchestra, Frightened Rabbit and Alfonzo.

The Wickerman Festival takes place on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th July. Skiddle.com are pleased to return to the festival for our fourth year, and to put it simply our summer would not be complete without it!
